To The Grindstone

Well, I’ve been derailed this week due to a short-term writing project.  I wish I could tell you about it, but… nope.  Bad idea.  It’s a good project–actually, I feel inspired–but it’ll monopolize my time until this weekend.

Tim and I will be shooting tonight: Canyon Ridge Baptist Church is having their annual revival.  This is, of course, essential to the story, and must be documented.

On Friday, I’ve got a shoot scheduled–an interview with church member Mike Althaus.  He’ll give us a peek into the inner workings of my subject for the documentary, Canyon Ridge Baptist Church.  Mike is a great friend of mine–he’s tremendously funny, and has been with the church since it started in 2002.  His point of view will no doubt be invaluable to our story.

In news that’s in no way relevant to the film, I hiked Iron Horse Mountain today with my friend Patrick. The pics can be viewed on my Flickr account.
